This year’s Olympic Games in Paris raise a number of controversial and topical legal issues, including the (non‑) participation of Russian athletes, the treatment of transgender athletes and their inclusion in competitions, and how legal conflicts at the Games are resolved through the CAS Ad Hoc Division. Reason enough for WISLaw and Junges Netzwerk Sportrecht (JNSR – German Network for Young Sports Law Professionals) to team up and debate these topics with expert speakers at the upcoming joint event in Frankfurt, Germany.
